September is well upon us

Tis the season for turning corners! Crops are tuned to golden yellow, tree leaves are turning many colors, flowers are turning into seed pods and I am into wooden pen turning. A new hobby for the winter months.
It has been truly amazing how some of the flowers in our yard and garden continue to bloom. Our neighbour was over yesterday afternoon and I took her on a tour of the flower beds and she was quite amazed as well. The big bloomers are petunias, cosmos, morning Glories, Clematis and Four O Clocks. Also many of the roses are starting over so I am hoping for no frost for a couple more weeks. Got the potatoes dug out and put in the cool for a couple of days before we move them to the basement for winter storage. Not a really big crop but should last till mid winter.
