Past days

We were in Vernon, British Columbia for my nieces' wedding. Friday some us family took others who had not been there for a little tour. Coffee and pie or other pastry at the Davison Orchards opening day.

It was a very nice wedding and an early evening reception followed. Wedding at the Church of Christ and reception at the Prestige Inn. We ended up getting a large room with a king size bed!

We also celebrated our 29th Anniversary at the Quails' Gate Winery dining room. The view was great. Some color growing in the landscaping as well. The weather was warm but cool evenings. They are certainly a little ahead of us. A very nice time.

Is that a lovely magnolia pink bloom? Aren't they lucky!

There were a number of them in different places, including my sisters' front yard. The other one we saw is the white or cream colored one (?)which I think she called Cup and Saucer. I am not very up on Magnolias as of course we cannot even come close to growing unless you have a conservatory.
