Addendum to my first post
Thought I would put up a picture of the "ice road" into our yard. We have driven on the fresh snow every time and of course it is so well pack it won't melt. Also we had a little rain this week so it is smooth as glass in places. You can see that there just is no snow cover!

You could make a figure eight and start a skating rink. :)
Looks like the weather is about to change here. Hope it doesn't get too cold without any snow!
