Some new events and growth in the plant room

Clematis viticella (BC1) in a pot and today has 15 blossoms and a number of new buds. Its partner (BC2) has 4 or 5 blossoms. What a cheery addition to the house! Better than my photography shows.
Also have Clematis recta starting to bloom as well as mandschurica. A good winter for Clematis.

Here is a single C. recta blossom!
And a mandschurica.

Outside there is evidence of some tough times for evergreens which is not good. The snow is also leaving and so my Edible Honeysuckle plantation is showing up. I will try to get old jute back carpeting to put down the pathways between the rows to help control weeds.
